Carol Maloney has been part of the Comcast SportsNet family since July 1, 2001, when she joined the network as an anchor/reporter.

She has served in both full-time and part-time roles since then, and is now a regular contributor on the SportsNite desk and out in the field.

Maloney joined Comcast SportsNet after spending three years with 9News in Denver as a sports reporter.  

Maloney, a native of Des Moines, has always been active in sports. She played six sports in high school and was a basketball star at Drake University.  While at Drake, she began her broadcasting career by working as a part-time reporter/photographer for WOI-TV in Des Moines. 

Maloney won the regional Edward R. Murrow award for best sports reporting, and she was a finalist for the Colorado Black Journalist Association Sports Reporting award.
