I'm a Silver Spring native and attended the University of Maryland. I was fortunate enough to be the inaugural anchor for Comcast SportsNet's first news show on April 4, 2001.
Currently, I continue my anchoring duties, while also serving as the host of Redskins Kickoff and Redskins Post Game Live. One of my favorite beats is University of Maryland basketball and football.
I was honored with the 2002 Capital Region Emmy Award for Best Sports Anchor. I also took a couple of the little statues during my time with Washington's WTTG-TV Fox 5.
Before joining Comcast SportsNet in 2001, I worked for Fox SportsNet, where I covered the NFC Title Game and Super Bowl XXXV.
Because this is my home, I've long been very active in the metropolitan community, volunteering with several organizations including the YMCA, Neediest Kids, and the Adoption Service Information Agency (ASIA).
I learned my craft as an intern under the sportscasting legend-in-the making James Brown, and the late great Glenn Brenner. From Brenner, I learned to go with my first inclination when it came to the humorous. From J.B. I learned to treat everyone no greater no less than any other.
